What to Expect as a New Patient:

We know coming to a new physician's office can be daunting.  So, we do our very best to make it convenient & easy as pie!  We offer an initial consultation to first determine if we can help with your problem. We make coming to our office comfortable for you, outlining exactly what to expect in your first discussion with the doctor. Once you've made your booking by calling our office to schedule, you'll be given an appointed time. You'll receive a confirmation email or phone call prior to your first visit to confirm your time, answer any questions you may have, and help you with directions. In order to gather all the information necessary to help you best, you will be asked to fill out our initial paperwork. This form outlines your current problems and asks questions about your health history and profile. You can complete this form in the office if you choose; if so, you will be asked to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Otherwise, if you have a busy schedule, you can complete your initial paperwork prior to your appointment by downloading and printing this document:

Our step-by-step process... "Easy Peasy."

You will sit down with Dr. Waldt and explain your current problem. Dr. Waldt will ask you further questions about your health and your history to fully understand how best to help. Our #1 priority here is to ensure that you feel UNDERSTOOD.

Once we have all the information about your health, if Dr. Waldt feels he can help you, you can proceed with a paid examination. The comprehensive examination will include a posture exam, neurological and orthopedic examination, plus a chiropractic/osteopathic structural examination.

Dr. Waldt will examine your body as a whole, not just the area that is in pain.

Rest assured, our office accepts all health insurances.  The cost for care is typically just your co-pay.

Once the examination is complete, Dr. Waldt will sit down with you and explain his findings. He is sure to do this in an easy-to-understand way.  And he will take this at your pace.

First Adjustment. After the examination, if it seems that you are a candidate for chiropractic/osteopathic care, Dr. Waldt will provide your first spinal adjustment or other pain-relief treatment. Depending on you, your preferences, body type and condition, Dr. Waldt will use the appropriate techniques. If you're not a candidate for chiropractic/osteopathic care, Dr. Waldt will refer you to the person who can best help you.

In order to get the full picture of your spinal health, Dr. Waldt may refer you to get spinal x-rays. In the event that x-rays are necessary, they will be conducted off-site.

Your next appointment, Dr. Waldt will explain your condition in further detail and if you were referred for x-rays, walk you through his x-ray findings. Here, he will outline treatment options, explaining costs and recovery times. There will be no hidden surprises with our care. From here, we will work together to help you achieve your goals. Your subsequent appointments will consist of periodic re-examinations and treatments.

You will never feel rushed in your treatments. Dr. Waldt will always examine your body at each visit and make gentle spinal adjustments when necessary.
