Dr. Glenn J. Waldt, MS, DC, DO
Dr. Waldt's strength as both an osteopathic medical physician & chiropractor is that he understands what it's like to experience life with pain and limitation. He knows, from first hand experience, the frustration and stress it can cause. This struggle with episodic migrainous neuralgia, or cluster headache, is what continually fuels his passion and dedication for helping others through natural chiropractic & osteopathic medical care.
We're sharing this just to let you know that "we feel your pain" and we're more compassionate because of our personal experience.
Simply put, we care about you. And we want to see you get well & stay well.

After having a personal "miracle experience" as a chiropractic patient at age 20, Dr. Waldt decided he too would become a chiropractor. He wanted to help people live life with better function and less pain. Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Waldt was granted 2 bachelor's degrees from Grove City College in 1995-- a degree in biology & a degree in teaching.
Then, Dr. Waldt was granted a master's degree in Human Anatomy in 1998. He taught cadaver dissection to chiropractic students for 3 years in Davenport, Iowa and he taught biology to pre-nursing students in Bettendorf, Iowa. He was then graduated from Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia with a chiropractic degree in 2002. From 2002-2014, Dr. Waldt practiced chiropractic in his hometown (near Philadelphia) and enjoyed helping thousands of patients. "Serving others through natural chiropractic care in those years was 'pure joy!'" says Dr. Waldt.
Then, around 2014, he began to feel a "strange itch" to learn more & to increase his scope of practice. Dr. Waldt decided to pursue medicine and he was invited to enroll as a medical student at 4 different medical colleges. Dr. Waldt was graduated from the esteemed Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. "There may be only 15-20 chiropractors who are also medical physicians in practice today in the U.S.... I guess that makes me a "rare bird,'" quips Dr. Waldt.
After being employed for 3 years as a medical resident physician in training at MountainView Regional Medical Center, Dr. Waldt was offered a full-time clinical teaching position at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine right here in Las Cruces, New Mexico... and, Dr. Waldt accepted the offer.
Dr. Waldt told Burrell that he must be granted the opportunity to treat patients at least part-time, because helping others with natural osteopathic/chiropractic care is his "first love." Now, Dr. Waldt has settled back here in Las Cruces, NM to start his practice, ready to fulfill his mission of helping people with chiropractic/osteopathic care.
Dr. Waldt's Goal for All of his Patients is Four-fold:
EXCELLENCE: To provide excellent chiropractic & osteopathic medical care for the Las Cruces community. To help others get out of pain and start living a better life. Get people back to doing things they love. Dr. Waldt doesn't mess around when it comes to getting people feeling better. "Life's too short," he says, "to struggle in pain."
EDUCATION: To educate all patients on the benefits of a healthy spine and lifestyle. Educate patients on the importance of prevention and overall well-being.
EMPOWERMENT: To empower people to take control of their lives, choose actions that support their highest values, and live life to their optimal potential.
EXAMPLE: Dr. Waldt leads by his own example, practicing what he preaches. Dr Waldt prides himself on recommending care to patients the same way he would recommend care to his own family, after an initial discussion to make sure chiropractic/osteopathic care is right for them.

Dr. Waldt's Words of Encouragement to You:
Dr. Waldt says, "Life is too short to live in pain! Our bodies want to be well. There are small changes I can help you make that will get us feeling good again. I can help you do this. We'll do it together. Please don't think you have to struggle or suffer alone. In my office, we have about a 90% success rate. We don't help everyone, but we've helped more than 6,000 people since 2002 and many of our patients had exhausted other methods and they were at the "end of their rope" before they found relief in my office. Please understand... there is always hope & help available if you don't give up."
Dr. Waldt is convinced that regular and ongoing gentle chiropractic & osteopathic care is necessarily a big part of health and healing for all families.
Let's help you get to that wonderful place of excellent health & function and then let's keep you and your family there!
