Causes of elbow pain:

What is the most common cause of elbow pain?

Once we have ruled out any underlying disease or problem such as a fracture, the most common causes of elbow pain are mechanical in nature. Elbow pain often is the result of poor shoulder stability and position. This causes excessive tension and stress at the elbow joint as a compensation pattern by the shoulder and spine. Overuse injuries are all very common.

How does Dr. Waldt help people with elbow pain?

At Dr. Waldt's office, we take a holistic approach with elbow pain, we treat your entire body, not just at the site of injury. There can be many factors into what is causing your elbow pain, so it is essential we provide an accurate diagnosis.

Our process involves a complimentary consultation which allows us to determine if we are in fact the right people to help you. If we are not, we will be sure to refer you to the right people. If we deem that we can help you, you will move on to a paid examination.

During this examination process, we will perform a range of orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal tests in order to find out what is the problem. Once we have all of this information, we will report back to you with our findings.

From here we will create a personalized treatment plan, designed to help you recover naturally. Our treatment approach will include spinal adjustments, adjustments to the joints of the body, muscle work, plus the prescription of rehab exercises and stretches.

With elbow pain, we will also look at the lifestyle factors that have led to the injury and help you make modifications as necessary to precent future instances.
